The Meeting of a Soccer Ball and Wildlife: Ryan Stalker's Award-Winning Photograph

This year, Ryan Stalker won the British Wildlife Photography Award with his photograph capturing a soccer ball covered with numerous mussels.

Stalker emerged victorious among 14,000 submissions from amateur and professional photographers, also clinching the top spot in the Coastal and Marine Life category.

Regarding his photograph, Stalker mentioned, 'On the surface, only a ball is visible, but beneath the water lies a colony of animals.' He added, 'This soccer ball, washed ashore in Dorset, has traversed the entire Atlantic Ocean.
